How does the concept of Islamic mental health, Islamic education and its relevance to the perspective thought of Hasan Langgulung? The research is a qualitative as-philosophical analysis or data analysis of the idea of ​​a person's thinking. The data analysis is descriptive, analytical and critical. This technique is used to provide the knowledge, open up new horizons and also presents the facts in an objective, systematic and generalists.
Mental health is a state of unified power range of a person who causes it to use and exploit the best which in turn causes it manifests itself or embody humanity. According to the Langgulung reason, health cover together the various energy person who caused him to use force (intellectual or cognitive, emotional and motivational) as well as possible and bring to realization his humanity (productivity).
The forms of mental disorders and illnesses are some things, namely: riya ', envy, greed, anxiety, excessive talking, cursed people, the promise of a lie, lie, chided from behind (backbiting), very angry, love the material ( Hubb ad-dunya), love thewealth (Hubb al-mal), stinginess (bukhl), love the dub (Hubb al-jah), vanity (kibr), pride (ujub). Education is a process that has a goal that is usually sought to create patterns of behavior specific to the child or the person being educated. In a broader sense, Langgulung defines education as an effort to move the cultural values ​​to each person in society.
